The world of Weimar Berlin: Churning factories, crowded streets, glittering nightclubs. Decadent temptations, cynically marketed. Moral outrage, expertly manipulated. Brand-new democracy, celebrated by some, feared and loathed by others. Fractured politics. Financial panic. And through it all, an explosion of creativity as artists, writers, and performers made the most of their fledgling freedoms to express new ideas of beauty, mock the powerful, and shine a light on the machine of modern society – frightening, fantastic, and gorgeously absurd.

We are the Love Markets. We play songs of the old Weimar artists, and new songs written in the Weimar spirit. We are all on the market; we are all damaged goods. Life is beautiful.

The stakes are high.
The future is still ours.
